West Virginia University School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month clinical or tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching to students enrolled in the pre-doctoral, postdoctoral, and dental hygiene programs, comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the State and surrounding areas, including in the hospital and operating room patient care, high quality scholarly activity, and service to the School of Dentistry, the University, the community, and the state. Candidates must demonstrate effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, leadership skills, and strong commitment to diversity and social justice. This position will work closely with the Chair of Pediatric Dentistry in the development of the post-graduate program in Pediatric Dentistry and build collaborative relationships with local, State, and national groups that have interest in pediatric oral and overall health.

Candidates must have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school or foreign equivalent, must pursue and achieve board certification in pediatric dentistry within five (5) years of employment, and must be eligible for a West Virginia dental license and have obtained their WV license by their first day of employment, unless special consideration has been approved.
