The University of New England College of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time clinical track position in Pediatric Dentistry (Assistant/Associate Professor).

Candidates must demonstrate a passion for dentistry and a strong desire to teach students in a demanding, fast paced academic environment. Candidates will contribute to and participate in a humanistic and inclusive environment of learning and discovery. Didactic and clinical instruction to pre-doctoral students will be the core responsibilities of the position. The successful candidate is expected to be able to provide clinical supervision of pre-doctoral students, lecture, and to provide clinical care in the Oral Health Center group practice. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualified candidates must possess a DDS / DMD degree or international equivalent. It is preferred that the candidate will have completed an advanced education program in pediatric dentistry and be Board certified or eligible. Candidates, including general dentists, with documented experiential qualifications in pediatric dentistry may also be considered. The candidate must be licensed, or be eligible for licensure in Maine and have successful completion of the NBDE parts 1 & 2, or equivalent exam.
