The Dental Assistant position is located within the New York Harbor Healthcare System in the Dental Service. The position entails wide range of intraoral dental procedures and provides chair-side assistance in the clinic and operating room setting. Assists with, performs and educates patients regarding intra-oral procedures associated with various phases of restorative, periodontal, endodontic, and oral surgery procedures, schedules appointments turn over operatories between patients Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Preferred Qualification: Recent relevant work experience within the past 1-2 years, should be included on resume/ CV submission.
