Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is seeking applicants for a faculty position in the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at the Department of Dental Medicine.
This position (full-time or part-time)  is for an Associate Program Director, with didactic, clinical and administrative duties.
The applicant should be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
The applicant will provide patient care and supervision to the residents in the clinic and operating room, participate in the didactic and research curriculum.
The applicant will assist the program director in mentorship of the residents in the following areas: preparation for board exams, enhancement of clinical skills and research projects.
Applicants must demonstrate good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is located in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. The hospital provides primary medical and advanced specialty care to the residents of Brooklyn and Queens. The area has seen an influx of new and young families from different parts of the world, enriching the community and providing a diverse experience to the residents and faculty. The hospital has easy access by public transportation, including the subway and bus.
Applicant must have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school and must have completed a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program.
The applicant must have or be eligible for a NY dental license. A NY state license for moderate sedation is preferred but not mandatory.
