Geisinger's Oral Medicine dept has an opening for r a board certified/ board eligible Pediatric Dentist to join our team. Our Geisinger Pediatric Dental Milton Clinic qualifies for the *Pennsylvania Primary Care Loan Repayment Program (LRP) with up to $80,000 loan repayment with a two-year term of service.
Our team currently has four full time pediatric dental faculty for our residency program. The program draws patients from a wide area and treats many patients with special health care needs. Our team serves as the major trauma center for pediatric dental care in the area. The successful candidate will be able to enjoy working with residents, take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space of the Susquehanna River Valley and enjoy a competitive salary.
Practice details:
Currently a four full time pediatric dental faculty with a residency program
Patients come from a wide service area- we treat many patients with special health care needs
Prefer operating room experience
Geisinger has a cleft palate team
Sub specialist partners at the hospital including oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, and a general dentistto whom we transfer patients with special health care needs as they age out of pediatric dentistry

A pediatric dentist specializes in both primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs.
Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. Performs and/or interprets diagnostic tests as needed.
Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness. May prescribe or administer medications. Prepares, maintains, and reviews records that include patients' histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes. Work is typically performed in a clinical and office environment.
