Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Dental Director, the Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Dentist is responsible for administering, maintaining, and expanding a program of primary (and, in selected cases, secondary) care and preventive dental care in a community health center setting. The Pediatric Dentist works closely with the QI Dental Coordinator, Dental Director, Dental Clinic Manager, and Dental Clinical Operations Manager to provide consistent supervisory guidance to dental staff, particularly in clinical matters.   The Pediatric Dentist will provide specialized dental care to children from infancy through adolescence, including those with special needs.
