The Tulsa VA Medical Center, Dental Service is currently recruiting for one Dental Hygienist for the Tulsa VA Dental Clinic. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Employees at this level serve as staff dental hygienists at the full performance level, receiving little to no guidance from more experienced staff members for more complex patient issues. Employees plan, coordinate, and conduct preventive oral health programs for various patient groups; develop and modify instructional methods; and develop methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the preventive dentistry program. Employees work closely with, and under the general direction of a dentist or dental specialist. The Dental Hygienist provides direct patient care under the general supervision of the dentist and performs other clinical
